This car was originally restored back in 1992 by a Porsche main dealer. Since then the exterior trim has been painted black in an attempt to make the car appear newer, the wheels details have changed and the vehicle is suffering from some heavy rust problems.
We plan to restore this car back to its original 1977 specification.
We started by removing the exterior and interior trim such as door handles, mirrors, lights etc. All trim and fittings are removed, labelled and carefully stored as some of these items are now becoming rare and very expensive.
As more trims are being removed we can start to see the full extent of the rust and repairs needed. Both B pillers and sills door shut areas are completely rotten. Although this looks unrepairable there is hope as new repair sections are available and can be ordered very quickly.

Our next step is to continue removing trims, including the windows and start preparing the car for welding.
UPDATE: Check out the next page to see how we got on from there! (The date of the latest update is noted in bold at the top of the page).
This car will be for sale once restoration has been completed. Please email or call for details!
